UK Teacher Paid for the Abuse of Children

The National Crime Agency (NCA) arrested 35-year-old Matthew Smith of London in November 2022, after establishing that he had been distributing child abuse material through the dark web.
The arresting officers found Smith logged in to multiple child pornography sites and forums on the dark web. On one of the sites, he saw asking a young man in India to send him child abuse images in exchange for cash.
A review of Smith's chatlogs on the child abuse platforms and financial records revealed that he had paid two Indian men a total of over £65,398 to abuse children for over five years. The chatlogs also revealed that Smith had been giving the young men instructions on how they would abuse the children. He also provided them with examples of images and videos he expected the young men to send him. He even gave one of the young men advice on how he would gain his victims' trust before abusing them.
Smith was working at a school in Nepal during his offending. Before moving to Nepal he was working working in orphanages and NGOs in India between 2007-2014. The NCA established that he may have engaged in child abuse during his stay in India. He moved to the UK in mid-2022 and became the deputy head teacher and head of pastoral care at a primary school in London.
The investigators recovered over 120,000 images of child abuse from Smith's electronic devices. He pleaded guilty to a total of 22 offenses. The charges include, arranging the sexual abuse of a child, encouraging the rape of a child under 13, and causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
In addition to the 12-year prison term, the Southwark Crown Court placed him on the sex offenders register for life.

I don't agree with his action but a lot of people view these matters too plainly. There are in fact organizations and treatments for such people. Most people don't bother to learn as much or even acknowledge that in SOME cases, some people are by no fault of their own, born that way. In THOSE cases, the person can actually be treated and supported, so that NO ONE gets hurt. Those people don't learn that any form of support is available, they just hear that they need to and deserve to die, they get isolated, and reach a low point that causes them to commit offenses that may have been prevented had we managed the matter better. It SHOULD be viewed as BAD. But, outright killing people is never really a solution. Nor is telling someone they should kill themselves, before they've done something wrong. In the UK, a 12 year sentence means only 6 on good behaviour. And no-one in prison will know what he did. Unless someone circulates his photo on the inside

I know a dirtbag woman, who taught her 7 year old daughter to seduce a boy around her same age, the woman then created the circumstances so that her daughter had time alone with the boy while she distracted the boy's mother, once the boy had left some evidence on the girl she came out screaming to her mom, mommy! he came in! Then the woman started screaming brutal accusations against the boy, sent the mother of the kid literally to hell and sewed the family to the point where they were homeless. The mother of the girl is free, the girl is free, the family of the boy is poor now and the boy has the label of abuser stuck to his name for the rest of his life, his life ruined forever. I believe that many (not all) people caught for pedophilia are caught in the same kind of situation.... The guy spoken about however was clearly making money off of it, but to pay for something like that he has to have somebody buying it from him, why were the buyers not even looked for?
