After extensive investigations, the Ansbach criminal police managed to detect drug trafficking by mail. Arrest warrant issued for a suspect.

In the context of criminal investigation, the specialist commissariat of the Ansbach criminal police, responsible for narcotics offenses, became aware of a narcotic trade which was to be carried over the post. As part of further police action, the suspicion hardened against a 33-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. The duo is suspected of ordering narcotics on the Internet (“Darknet”) and then having them delivered by mail.

By order of the Ansbacher prosecutor’s office, the seizure of postal items as well as the searches of the apartments of the duo were carried out in the administrative districts of Ansbach and Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen.

The investigators provided about two kilograms of amphetamine, about 300 ecstasy tablets and a dozen or so marijuana plants.

The duo must now answer, among other things, on suspicion of narcotics trafficking. The investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for the 33-year-old man.
