Authorities in Turin arrested a man accused of importing and reselling large quantities of illicit drugs purchased on the darkweb.
The 22-year-old computer expert from Volvera, Turin, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics after the carabinieri found and seized thousands of euros in cash and large quantities of hashish and cannabis from his home.

Investigations carried out by the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Moncalieri revealed that the defendant had the drugs shipped from abroad after purchasing them from an undisclosed dark web marketplace.
The carabinieri raided the defendant’s residence and found a bag that contained 1.5 kilograms of hashish, in packages of 100 grams each, one kilogram of cannabis divided and packaged in three plastic bags, 22 cans with three grams of cannabis in each can, and eight containers with 100 milliliters of codeine in each container.
