The convicted administrators and staff members of the darkweb child pornography forum “Elysium” have launched an appeal against the judgments handed down during earlier legal proceedings.
A spokesperson from the District Court of Limburg stated that the four convicted admins and staff members of the darkweb child pornography forum “Elysium” have carried their appeal all the way to the Federal Court of Justice in Germany. The court will be examining any legal errors made during their previous conviction and sentencing hearings.
During the initial hearing, two of the admin/staff attorneys appealed for the suppression of electronic evidence based on the grounds that the warrants themselves were illegally obtained. The motion to suppress was denied.
