Reminder: COVID-19 is not an excuse for domestic packs to take weeks
Saw a similar post like this in /d/xanax thought I’d make one here.
In the USA COVID-19 is causing at most a 3 day delay. Most packs are taking an extra 1 - 2 days or being transported in the usual time.
Since February all my packs have been landing with lightning speed, 2 - 3 days for most of them. I had a few packs that seemed to take an extra 2 days going thru a certain part of the country. I’ve had packs come from basically all parts of the country with no major hiccups.
For the most part USPS is operating fine. Do not let a vendor tell you COVID-19 is to blame for a pack being 10+ days late. That is absolutely ridiculous the vendor is stalling or being lazy and hasn’t even dropped it off yet. Also most cities have partially reopened at this point so there is no excuse for them to take more than 72 hours to get it dropped off.
I’ve been hearing about delays in the UK with royal mail and I’m not sure what’s going on in other countries. This post is only talking about USA domestic packs.
